But seriously, how many Monkey King reboots does the world need? Can’t believe I’m having to ask this, are we talking about the animated movie Monkey King or you mean King Kong and Godzilla movies? This guy:  AKA Sun Wukong But enough with the King Kong series and the American Godzilla series as well.

We all know that’s not how this works. There are literally THOUSANDS of indie writers out there who are infinitely better than the hacks in Hollywood right now. The writers in Hollywood are “Yes Men” who are told what to write and say. A narrative or agenda. Very few who actually write something that means anything because directors and producers don’t care about art anymore. The studios hire them to make money by checking off boxes. Well said.

It'll get to a point where they're just making the same film over and over, endlessly reworking it in the hope of making the "perfect" film that will appeal to everyone.
They do this already. They just experiment by putting in different actors, flavor of the month, changing a few details, cliche after cliche.

I don't remember ANYONE watching that. The only reason anyone knew her (at least in my state) was because she had big tits, and appeared on "The Wonder Years" with a strong emphasis on her breasts, as well as skinny-dipping, which never happened since Kevin Arnold fell off the boat.
Which reminds me, there is a "Wonder Years" reboot, this time with a black family.
They don't re-make em like they used to!!
