The Politics board has put me over the edge a few times.
And now that Biden is in office, and behaving like a normal president as opposed to Trashcan Fire Trump, maybe Bat is just taking a needed breather.
I remember, back in the day, after Obama was sworn in, I had no reason to watch the Sunday political shows and scream at the TV about W anymore. It was liberating.

That is so cute asse9! Thanks everyone. Indeed the politics board is TOXIC! It is, but the posters there are almost in a codependent relationship. We love to hate on each other (I like everyone though, even people I hate). That's why it's the most active board. I miss Heeeyyy and Jill and some of our missing people though. It's just not the same. You get active on a board and then you realize that you've been arguing with people for years. You get attached to the little online families these boards create. The politics board feels like you're at the worst Thanksgiving family dinner, ever. There are your favorite cousins who always get you, the drunk uncle that just sounds crazy all the time, the sister you just wish would STFU already. But you go because at the end of the day those are your people.

Same here. I often disappear from here for a while (even though I have steadfastly stayed away from the Politics board), so it doesn't surprise me when Bat does the same, but he does seem to have been gone an unusually long time. Does anybody know if this is his longest absence from IMDB 2?

I see that two additional months have passed, and there's still no sign of BATouttaheck. This is worrisome.
I was just thinking that two important additions to the Movie Quotes board sticky thread were his suggestions.
He also was a prolific contributor to the Word Association Game.
Wherever he is, I hope he is well and returns to us soon.
