Night of the Living Dead (first movie to feature a black actor as the main protagonist) "Woke" is believing that Night of the Living Dead is the first movie to feature a black actor as the main protagonist, when most anyone can name a half dozen Poitier movies that do just that before 1968, notably the classic Lilies of the Field. And that's just talking about Poitier.

I’d like to participate here, but I don’t know what a “woke” film is. Do they Star Matt Hardy, I’ve heard he’s woken. Basically a woke movie is one that pushes liberal political agendas. For example Movies about women defeating the patriarchy while not needing to be in a relationship with a man,and not being sexualized. If the woman is black or a lesbian that scores points. |
