Got a new crock-pot recently and this has been baking all day. Every time I come in from outside my mouth starts watering because of the smell. Instead of mashed potatoes this time having something a little different. Mashed cauliflower. With it broccoli and cooked carrots. Took the lid off awhile ago and it looks like this pic I got off the web:

That looks fantastic. What did you put on it?

That looks fantastic. What did you put on it? Spices (garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, paprika, sage, black pepper, whatever I have on hand) and I put a can of cream of chicken soup on it. Helped make the gravy great.

What do you stuff them with? nutsberryfarm 🏜 Hamburger, rice, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. I wrap everything up in the steamed cabbage. Then I mix 1/2 vinegar to 1/2 water and pour over the cabbage rolls. I bake it about 2 hours or so. And if I have bacon I add it. Looks like this picture I got off the web.

I didn't think a Crock-Pot could brown meat.

I didn't think a Crock-Pot could brown meat. NJtoTX Sure they can. In the last couple weeks I made a whole chicken and a beef roast in it. The roast went in crock-pot looking like top picture and came out looking like bottom picture. Got both pics off the web but that's what mine looked like before and after. Only difference mine had three slices of cabbage on top of the roast. And the chicken came out fall off the bone tender.
