I heard one person say... that the members of the beatles died in order of the most talented. And then the next most talented.
But that is factually wrong. Because it implies that john and george are the most talented.
Mccartney was the talent. AT least I think that is his name.

December 9, 1961 The Beatles playing before a tiny "crowd" at the Palais Ballroom in Aldershot, just weeks before hiring Brian Epstein as their new manager, 6 months before signing their recording contract with George Martin and EMI, followed shortly after by the sacking of drummer Pete Best in favor of Ringo Starr, as a direct result of George Martin's "suggestion".... www.beatlesbible.com/1961/12/09/live-palais-ballroom-aldershot/Photos from that same night (top to bottom): Photographer friend of the band Dick Matthews, John Lennon, George Harrison and the band's (then) manager Sam Leach...... ![](https://www.beatlesbible.com/wp/media/611209_14.jpg) .....Pete Best.... ![](https://www.beatlesbible.com/wp/media/611209_03.jpg) .......George and John again....... ![](https://www.beatlesbible.com/wp/media/611209_11.jpg) .......and Paul. The Beatles' manager at the time, Sam Leach, organized a series of concerts at the Palais Ballroom in Aldershot, Hampshire, with the aim of making the young band known both to the public and, more importantly, to the record companies of London.
However, expectations were dashed by an unsuccessful advertising campaign in local newspapers, one not aided by the fact that the town of Aldershot was located 50km outside of London.
So it was that after 9 hours of travel from Liverpool the Beatles found themselves playing for a very unenthusiastic audience of 18 people, with the concert ending just after 9pm that night.......marking one of, if not the last unsuccessful venture for a band whose fortunes would soon begin turning around in a major way during the coming year of 1962.....
