For those unfamiliar, the MANDALLA EFFECT is when real life facts do not match your memory. For example: many people believe a movie was made in the 90s called SHAZAM! featuring Sinbad as a genie when in reality the movie was called KAPOW and featured Michael Jordan as a crime fighting zoo keeper. Recently I started watching through my classic The Simpsons dvds. And I could’ve sworn that Bart and Lisa wore RED, but as I rewatched I noticed that they are actually wearing ORANGE! Me, watching:  It has been a very disturbing experience. |

I remember when the Mandela effect was called the Mengele effect because people had a memory of Josef Mengele being aprehended in Ohio in the 1970s

Me, watching: It has been a very disturbing experience. My biggest problem was the Ford Logo. My family has the name Ford (on my moms side. Not mine) There is a curly tail on the “F” in the logo. I’ve see that logo my whole life. Everyone drives Fords. Ford trucks and cars. That “F” didn’t have a curly tail. |

The Mandalla Effect also happens when people talk about The Old Message Boards. I've seen it happen when people talk about posts from 5 minutes ago, often their own. lol
