Yes. I watched that last week and I don't think it is terrible, just not good.

Battlefield Earth is bad but I would not put it as his worst film. The Poison Rose is his worst film in my opinion.

Surprising Battlefield Earth is not in there.

I'm sure the low percentage applies to his direct-to-DVD films. Bruce Willis probably has it worse.

Yeah. His career has been full of ups and downs.

Yeah. His career has been full of ups and downs. One of the most extreme cases I can think of.

Surprising Battlefield Earth is not in there. Probably a couple Scientologist gave it a glowing review. It was a sack of fecal material. Never seen The Poison Rose and doubt I ever will

Yeah. His career has been full of ups and downs. Mostly downs. His 80s career didn't really produce anything as memorable as Grease or Saturday Night Fever, he made a huge comeback with Pulp Fiction, then by 2000 he went back to making mostly terrible, forgetable films again.

To be fair...Hairspray has a 91 on RT. So I question the validity of those scores.

Battlefield Earth isn’t the worst film of all time like some people say.
It’s just a bad Sci-Fi film.

To be fair...Hairspray has a 91 on RT. So I question the validity of those scores. That just means that the majority of critics like the movie. But yes, RT is misleading to begin with. First of all they sometimes count a 2.5/4 star rating as a fresh rating. Roger Ebert for example considered 2.5/4 a thumbs down rating, though only a mild thumbs down.

Battlefield Earth isn’t the worst film of all time like some people say. It’s just a bad Sci-Fi film. I agree, but it is still surprising that it doesn't have a 0% rating based on it's reputation. It is one review that keeps it from a 0% on RT.

He's only been in one good movie in his career. Obviously that's BROKEN ARROW. The rest of his movies have no value, certainly no entertainment value, and no inspiration.

It's not only the quality of some of his recent films, it's more his attitude. Just like Willis he often looks like he would rather be somewhere else. There's good news on the horizon though: He would like to return for Adam Wingard's planned Face/Off sequel, but they say he wants to read the script first.
