send me mookie for hosmer. i'm doing you a favor. I'm going to keep that offer open so if Mookie sustains a season-ending injury tonight, I'll then accept it. Otherwise, don't sling that garbage my way. Otherwise I'll offer you Raisel Iglesias for Tatis, Jr. Repeatedly. hosmer is ranked 40 spots ahead of mookie!

You do have at least two of the very best pitchers (Cole & Bieber), and Kluber is coming around. If you do beat me this week, it would be so far because of the scorching Giancarlo Stanton and that my best hitters are not hitting. I was able to switch my starters this morning, a pleasant surprise given yesterday it wouldn't let me put Duffy in for....reasons. Watch me lost by 3 points now. Just last week, I would have won if Yahoo didn't unilaterally decide to put deGrom on my bench (when I had him in the lineup). Alas. Yahoo must hate me for some reason. It's like Skynet, it's coming for me in the form of undermining my fantasy team. Maybe I'm the savior of the universe? It's the only plausible explanation for my troubles. Point of order: I beat you by 180, and DeGrom didn't score 180.

Actually this IMDB League is a daily league...meaning you can change your lineup on a daily basis instead of a weekly one. Yes, I am by fra the nest pitching team, but I wished I had read the scoring closer as pitchers are undervalued in this league compared to most. I'm still in 2nd though. 😀 You do have at least two of the very best pitchers (Cole & Bieber), and Kluber is coming around. If you do beat me this week, it would be so far because of the scorching Giancarlo Stanton and that my best hitters are not hitting. You mean the two best pitchers. 😉 Bieber being #1, but I picked Cole first because I knew Bieber would still be available. The guy is legend. We have a very close matchup. Harper is healthy again, and like you said, Stanton is scorching. I love how we are the only two teams with "non catcher" catchers. You have Isaih Kiner-Falefa who is an infielder and I have Willians "La Tortuga" Astudillo who has played at catcher, 2b, 3b, 1b, and even RP! And that is one of the big reasons that this week is close!

I wish they would announce earlier that Chris Paddack was coming out of COVID restriction and start the game on Sunday. I would have beaten the first place team for the week on my regular league. I was still leading by a little when going into the ESPN Sunday game. Ozzie Albies tripled, and I was behind. I needed Alec Bohm to HR in his last AB for me to win, but he only singled. Chris Paddack's start would have put me on top. We switched lead around 5 times on Sunday.

The fantasy baseball gods exacting their revenge for my Week 1 loss to you because I had JD Martinez on the bench for the same reason! It's like Final Destination. In all seriousness though, that sucks. They have been announcing those things within a half hour of first pitch so unless you're sitting there continuously refreshing Rotoworld or watching MLB Network, you'd have no way of knowing. So Alec Bohm looks a little different this year then he did last year. I still like him a lot (as much as any Met fan can possibly like a Phillie), he has a great future ahead of him. But his swing is too long and this year, he actually seems to be starting his swing further in front of his body than he was last year, meaning he has to go further back when he gears up to swing. That's a long way to go for his hands. The Mets have played the Phillies a bunch this year, and it just seems like he is continuously getting beat on the inside. I have no video evidence of his swing this year vs. last year, so this is entirely anecdotal, meaning take it with a grain of salt. His average should creep up though, his BABIP is only .258, well below league average, suggesting he has been hitting into bad luck and good defense. That will balance out and now that the weather is finally warmer, he should hit homers in bunches, especially in his home park.

Just heard that Kelenic will move up to the Major tomorrow. Before I can make a movie, you already snatched him. I still have him on my regular league. It'll be exciting to see him play.
So far Alec Bolm is mostly a single hitter. It doesn't help much without too many long balls. I can afford to drop him in the IMDbv2 league since so many other players with great season are available. I can't afford to do the same in my regular league because the pool of good players with good season are dried up. I am hoping his slugging power will come around.

Yeah man, with a 6-person league, all of us will be dropping high quality players at various points, and great contributors will be available in the FA pool pretty much at all times. My offense needs to show up, and my spot start of Pablo Lopez didn't work out so well

At an end your rule is, and not short enough it was. My team was limping into the weekend with injuries and collapsing pitching. From the projection, you should have blow out win and be first by end of the week. We'll see. A lot can happen in a week.

Wheeler has been just phenomenal this year. Best 21st round fantasy draft pick ever? He showed glimmer of greatness as a Mets but never really evolved until he is now with the Phillies.
His performance nearly demoralizes my chance. I am very behind, but I am still within striking distant. Our match is not over yet. One day more!

Wheeler has been just phenomenal this year. Best 21st round fantasy draft pick ever? Your pitching is overpowering. Mine is mediocre. Pitching is where you are winning it this week.
