Personally, while I enjoyed BATMAN BEGINS a lot at the time when it came out, when I took it out to re-watch it about a year or so ago... I found I didn't like it nearly as much as I had previously. Part of it, I have never cared for Christian Bale and I didn't like him as Batman. I love Michael Caine's Alfred and Morgan Freeman's Lucius though, and the movie itself is good (I admit, I do love the "Why do we fall down?" thing his father taught him then Alfred echoes to him later).
THE DARK KNIGHT, where to begin? I had a lot of trouble catching what people said because of the music in it and the layering Nolan likes to do with his audio. [Full Disclosure: I am hard of hearing, and I wear hearing aids, so I make use of the closed captions in most movies] Heath Ledger was definitely amazing as Joker, no doubt. Aaron Eckhart was also pretty good as I recall--- watched the movie once, but it took three attempts to get through it.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, where I absolutely LOVED Anne Hathaway's Catwoman/Selina. I would have been happy to get a solo movie with her. Talia's storyline SUCKED and the actress was so soft-spoken that I spent the entire time at the movie theatre having no idea what she said (I understood Bane just fine). That's about all I remember of the movie, to be honest. It didn't make much of an impression beyond the ladies in it. I do recall my best friend (a huge Christopher Nolan fan) being upset that I didn't love the movie, then he about stroked out when he called me later and found out I was watching the old Michael Keaton Batman movies.

The first film isn’t great, the third film is an abomination. I don’t know many who praise the trilogy, only The Dark Knight and that’s fair because it’s very good IMO

I'd say The Dark Knight was overrated as a movie.

The Trilogy is overrated.
But The Dark Knight is not. The Dark Knight is the best Batman film ever made and will likely always be so.
Batman Begins is good but not amazing, and The Dark Knight Rises made no sense.

Outside of Heath Ledger's Joker, what exactly about TDK was so great? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's bad. Far from it. But to get the kind of praise it gets... I just don't see it. Outside of Ledger's Joker that is.

I don't care for Batman Begins, a 4 out of 10. The Dark Knight is better for me, a 7 out of 10. The Dark Knight Rises is an 8 out of 10. I'd say I consider it overrated as a whole but I don't know about massively overrated.

Barman Begins: Goods, but not great.
The Dark Knight: Great movie, but as time has gone on I've noticed flaws that I didn't notice back when it was newer and I was so in love with it.
The Dark Knight Rises: I like the, but it's the weakest of the three. Very weird anti-Occupy Wall Street and pro-One Percent vibes.

If a few fans think they’re the best films ever then I’d say those people are overrating the trilogy (even though I like all three) but then it’s all down to personal taste. In my opinion the Ant-Man films are more entertaining than Black Panther even though the rest of the world seems to regard them both as pretty poor so you could say I’m overrating them.
So I voted “no”

As a trilogy, TDKR movie really dragged it all down. Similar trajectory to the Sam Rami Spider-Man movies. Very good first movie, great second movie ... should have stopped there. It took Marvel to offer up a satisfying series of movies, from beginning to end.

I personally think they are. People STILL treat these movies like they are some of the greatest films in cinema history when they were mediocre at best. Talk about an extremely pretentious trilogy about comic book superhero that dresses like a bat, drives a batmobile and fights crime that took the source material WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. People treat The Dark Knight like it's one of the greatest films in cinema history, and honestly that's not an unfounded claim. I still consider it the Godfather of superhero movies to the Avengers' Goodfellas. Which is better? I guess that just depends on your taste and what you're currently in the mood for. I'm by no means a Nolan fanboy but as many times as I've watched The Dark Knight it hits me with the same impact every time and the seams never tear. I would never argue that Batman Begins is one of the greatest movies of all time, I rarely ever go back to it, I just consider it a solid introduction. Dark Knight Rises is far too flawed to ever even be in consideration, but I still do like it a lot.

Only seen the first two and neither are in the slightest bit underrated IMO. Begins is arguably the greatest superhero origin movie ever made (Superman '78 is its main opponent) and about the closest thing to a 'realistic' Batman film we've ever gotten, blending the world of Batman into the crime thriller genre. The Dark Knight continues in this vein. And it's darker, edgier and even more epic, with a mesmerizing and disturbing portrayal of the Clown Prince of Crime.
I am, of course, heavily biased.
