The book 'The Barbizon : The Hotel That Set Women Free' has been published this month and it sounds like something fans of old movies might enjoy. This hotel was a refuge for women in the arts, at a time when there were a lot more men-only places. I don't think it's there anymore, I read that Ricky Gervais bought an apartment built on the site for $3,750,000 some years back.
