Somebody's dug up a rare performance of Magazine playing 'Shot By Both Sides' in Belgium. This song was an amicable interpretation of a song Howard Devoto wrote with Pete Shelley during his time in Buzzcocks. Shelley's version became the spiralling 'Lipstick'. Radiohead said both these bands were an influence on their music in their early days of making rock 'n' roll music.
'Lipstick' - Buzzcocks
Magazine - 'Shot By Both Sides'
What makes this video all the sweeter for fans is that those awesome videos of Magazine performing songs like 'The Light Pours Out Of Me' on soundstages are now long gone from online viewing platforms like youtube, I assume due to copyright issues.

Looks like Buzzcocks were in Belgium around the same time, performing live with a song that made a rare explicit entry into the politics of the day, circa 1979 ...
'Love You More'

Loved "Another Music" when it first came out, was hardly off my turntable for weeks. Magazine and later Luxuria were always underrated and overlooked. For me Magazine created "Post Punk".
