If God exists and he (or she) revealed themselves, would people who believe in God actually accept God as God?

If God exists and he (or she) revealed themselves, would people who believe in God actually accept God as God? Do you mean in a context if the God revealed didn't seem to match what their religious belief of what God was supposed to be like?

I can see a lot of people getting pissed. Something about appearance not matching up with what they envisioned. Something silly like that.

Interesting question.
I don't see any way around the truth of the matter though. The question relies on the God making his truth undeniable.

Some of us don't accept George Burns as God.
And others of us don't accept Morgan Freeman as God.
Some of us refuse to believe either one is God. How do we escape Hell fire?

If God exists and he (or she) revealed themselves, would people who believe in God actually accept God as God? Well, according to the Bible, God isn't hidden. Romans 1: None so blind...

If God exists and he (or she) revealed themselves, would people who believe in God actually accept God as God? I've long thought that if Jesus (as he presented himself in the NT) showed up today, he'd be castigated by the right for being too liberal and the left for being to conservative.
But whatever a god might be, I imagine it would be nothing like the run of the mill evangelicals preach from the pulpit. I would have no problem imagining a god that would not care about humans any more than any of the likely trillions of life forms throughout the universe. We may be of no more value to god than the fungus that grows on underside of a log in some distant forest is of value to me.

When Geroge Berard Shaw met Marilyn Monroe at a party she came over then gushed to him...'I am so thrilled to meet you Mr Shaw. If we were to procreate, just think of the result of our coupling with your brain and my looks. To which 'Mr Shaw' replied. Yes, m'dear, but what if it had my looks and YOUR brain? Just think of the repercussions for Jesus.

Well, according to the Bible, God isn't hidden. Romans 1: None so blind...
Ironically, Paul was nearly blind. His eyesight probably never fully recovered after his trip to Damascus. Galatians 6:11 See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand.1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. Anyway, these are Paul's words, not Jesus'. Who said "there are none so blind as those who will not see"?

Who said "there are none so blind as those who will not see"? The same guy who said a bit further down the page: 26 For among My people are found wicked men; They lie in wait as one who sets snares; They set a trap; They catch men. 27 As a cage is full of birds, So their houses are full of deceit. Therefore they have become great and grown rich. 28 They have grown fat, they are sleek; Yes, they surpass the deeds of the wicked; They do not plead the cause, The cause of the fatherless; Yet they prosper, And the right of the needy they do not defend. 29 Shall I not punish them for these things?β says the Lord. βShall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?β 30 βAn astonishing and horrible thing Has been committed in the land: 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end? Of course, Jeremiah had the luxury of writing about how much God would punish Israel and Judea after the two nations were wiped out by the invaders from the east. However, since he is speaking of false prophets and priests who lust for power whom he believes destroyed them in the Siege of Jerusalem in 570BC, I'd say as a humanist who has already given Christianity one hell of a shot (though some think Catholicism is not real Christianity), I see the wickedness of the fat and prosperous Republican preachers, both sacred and profane, in that passage. My eyes are well open and I see a God who likes honesty more than fawning, fake piety. Then what is the answer to the question?

Then what is the answer to the question? You, possibly. The Paulymiad Chapter 1 1 Yea, so it clouds the hope of many of mine brethren, how blind are the people of King Trump and his false prophets in the Grand Old Party. They turn their nation towards the evil heart of hatred. They sew their gardens with bitter seeds of chaos. What, I pray, is righteous about the foul practice of "owning the libs? Their minds wither with spite over people who toil the fields of justice. Yet, they do worship the LORD with glad hearts and sing His praises, MAGA! Lock her up! Go back to your shithole country! 2 Are they so blind that they cannot see? 3 And yea, these same people are blind to the dark envy of their own hearts. Lo, the ballots sang true and clear, yet they denied the ballot and sought to destroy the very Temple that gives them succor. 4 Could they not see how his people slaved to please their King who did not love them? 5 Did they not look with horror at the crooked man of business whose foundries are of brass, yet claims they are of gold. Do they not see the hatred sewn their hearts by the priests who falsely tell the people, anyone who not for Trump cannot be for The LORD? How wicked are they that worship a bright false god that they are even blind to inglorious things right in front of their faces. 6 And did not even the King Trump himself say: "What you're seeing and what you're reading is not what's happening"? 7 Even now, you will not accept what I've written here in complete honesty, but rather you will consign it to your dusty abode of a silence mind. But mark these words, the day of the LORD is at hand, so tryst not to bite it this time. Never mind. I see your answer now.

They would, but the people who say 'if God shows Himself, THEN I'll believe, if he PROVES His existence, THEN I'll believe He's real', wouldn't because they'd find another reason not to believe.
