Piper's match with Bad News Brown from WrestleMania VI is gone. (Was before the sale) What else do you reckon?
The build up to Triple H vs Booker T from WrestleMania XIX won't pass muster. Probably the entire career of Muhammad Hassan. What else do you think will be taken out of old shows? HLA? Playboy tie ins/ mud wrestling? The Iron Sheik?

I don't think future generations will really miss the history of racism in professional wrestling.
That being said, I don't really support just taking things out. I definitely won't be purchasing Peacock.

WWE are perfectly capable of censoring their own material. Didn't they airbrush Chris Benoit out of history overnight? Well, after they'd all paid tribute to him live on air.

Wrestling isn’t supposed to be woke I disagree. Heck, a big point of wrestling is good vs evil. Righting wrongs.

Good luck with that, people can find them elsewhere on the internet, i.e. YouTube.

No, but this generation and future ones have access to see the content that is deemed as offensive elsewhere on the internet so this tactic by NBC is pointless ultimately, changing the past has never really been that successful when it comes to art.

They just don't want it on their platform. Kinda like how Song of the South is still out there in bootleg form, but Disney still removes it from its libraries.

If you're referring to very old art, like anything beyond a century ago, then yes, but we're talking about content which goes back a few decades which was broadcast to television and viewed by millions.

If you're referring to very old art, like anything beyond a century ago, then yes, but we're talking about content which goes back a few decades which was broadcast to television and viewed by millions. Actually, a lot of that content has also been lost. Even just in professional wrestling alone, a lot of content that was broadcast and watched is lost forever. Fortunately, with the rise of the digital age, that's happening less and less.

All of the wrestling I grew up watching would be deemed offensive in one way or another at this point in time. I doubt all of it. But maybe a lot of it. Times do change. And that's ok. Ours is not to tell others what they should and should not be offended by.

Ours is not to tell others what they should and should not be offended by. I've accepted the fact that there is a portion of our culture that loves to search for things to be offended by with large companies that are all too happy to cave to it. This is why I am glad I am able to buy bootleg dvd's of the wrestling that I grew up with. And yes I am happy to tell those said people to F off

And yes I am happy to tell those said people to F off Companies have always caved in to people's demands and changes in culture. That's how they stay in business. Nintendo used to make playing cards. WWE used to be G. Then it was Attitude Era. Then PG again. Change is a part of life for everyone. I will admit, bootlegs can be cheaper. And it's sometimes the only way to find truly rare content. But I doubt you actually tell anyone to F off. At least outside of an internet forum.
