Looks OK. Wouldn't be half as interested if it was without Statham. Been meaning to watch the French original for some time.

Looks to be one of Statham's better actioners.
He's at his best when he does R rated movies.

Ritchie being involved is its selling point basically.

I really wish perhaps Ritchie would stick to smaller, crime films like this and The Gentlemen as whenever he attempts a larger blockbuster, you see his limitations come out more.

I did like both his Sherlock Holmes movies;the first one more than the second. Maybe if he did a darker and grittier superhero movie like The Authority or something similar, it'd be more interesting.

His big-budget, hired-hand work like with Aladdin (2019) is probably him doing a "one for the studio" movie so he can do his smaller, crime films.

So Statham is once again playing his "Bald, British badass character who only has 1-2 facial expressions."

Remake of the French movie "Le Convoyeur" (2004).
I think it is opening in theatres tomorrow. I skip most Jason Statham movies, but this one I will see, mostly because it's directed by Guy Ritchie. With the exception of "Swept Away" and "King Arthur", I enjoyed all of his movies that I've seen.

Stupid movie, doesn't make sense.
FBI Agent Dan (Andy Garcia) lets criminal syndicate boss H (Jason Statham) take revenge on other criminals he thinks "MIGHT" have killed his son and robbed an armored truck. His victims are later revealed not to have done either. But H has murdered them all. FBI does nothing.
H shoots Jan (the guy he remembers killed his son) in the head. Minutes later Jan escapes with the money alive and without a scatch.
Bullet shoots H with a machine gun. H shows up later to kill Jan "AGAIN", limping but otherwise without a scratch.
All these people get killed but show up later in the movie alive with no explanation.
There is a massive shootout between criminals and armored car employees, all wearing bullet proof vest. But people die with no blood on their heads or faces. What kind of bullet proof vests are these? Are they all using armor piercing bullets?
This movie is filled with massive plot holes big enough to drive an armored truck through.
The writers must have been high on drugs when they wrote this movie. You get the impression the studio was telling them, "Time's up. Finish the movie, or we're pulling the plug." So they turned in a plot that doesn't make any sense. Stupid.
2/10
