You would have seen this. I think it's a case of the OP overrating an actor so much that you begin forgetting what films he's been in too. The other users including you have put some effort in well more than the OP has anyway. Wrong. I am familiar with Scatman Crothers. Just look at his career. |

I always thought he had a very fortunate career, and thanks to Jack Nicholson, he had crucial supporting roles in One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest and The Shining. He had also a prosperous television career, too. Certainly, he deserved a better career with some meaty protagonist roles, but by the New Hollywood era, the movie-going audience was younger and mostly white and the films reflected that.
