Opening day is tomorrow. Kris Bryant would look good in a corner outfield spot in Busch.
Let's go Cardinals!

I'm taking tomorrow off so I can sit and watch the Mets, per tradition. Turning my mind away from work for a day isn't the worst idea either. Woohoo!

All-time, the Mets are (inexplicably) 39-20 on Opening Day, even after losing the first 8 openers in the franchise's existence. Baseball is a funny game.

Can't get out of work for tomorrow, but thanks to free preview on DirecTV, should be able to watch a good chunk of Sox/O's before I leave, then will watch Giants play Mariners when I get home.

Looking at StubHub prices for the Padres (who, it should be noted, only are allowed 20% attendance):
opening day hosting DBacks: $115 and up
rest of the DBacks series: $60 and up
hosting Giants series: $30 and up
at Texas series: $8 and up
at Pittsburgh series: $18 and up
hosting Dodgers series: $333 and up
Interestingly, in late April, you can get a Padres at Dodgers ticket for $105 (and LA is at 20% capacity as well).

Crazy. For the Mets home opening series against the Marlins next week, the cheapest tickets are $52 (for outfield promenade), all the way up to $779 for the plush seats behind home plate with all the gluttony you can possibly imagine. The rest of the series goes from $15 to $500. Funny thing with those luxury seats, you can usually grab them day of for like $100-$150 depending on the day and the opponent, although that probably won't be the case so long as limited capacity is a thing.

At Petco to start the season, the only time you're leaving your seat is to go to the bathroom. Every other row is empty (obviously more than that if it is only 20%) and there is an app that you order food to be delivered to your seats. I heard some guys talking about it at my kid's soccer game the other day and they jokingly said they are rooting for COVID/restrictions so they can have that for the rest of the season.

I still haven’t done my AL Central preview, and I’m not sure who takes the division but I could see the Twins finishing first, but I can’t see them beating the White Sox in a playoff series. Team is stacked, even without Jimenez.

The Cleveland Indians will NOT allow fans to wear headdresses or mimic Native American facepaint at Progressive Field this season ... the team officially banned it all Wednesday.
