Watch it here (if based in UK): www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08q8f1n/buddy-holly-rave-on?suggid=b08q8f1nIf overseas it may be on Bit Torrent. His brother, widow, the remaining Crickets, Paul Anka, Duane Eddy, Dion (who could have had a seat on that fateful flight but was too stingy to cough up $36!), Don McLean, Hank Marvin, Don Everly, Brian May, Bob Wyatt ... all had their say. Very moving at the end.

Yeah, I watched that last night, I thought it was a really interesting and quite insightful take on well-trodden ground. I'm a huge Buddy Holly fan, to me he's one of the true innovators of the early days of pop music, and it was great to see so many contemporaries of his looking fit and well. I had no idea Dion was still alive, yet he only looked about 60.
