Look at the history of black face and white face.
People who were black were already discriminated against based on their actual color.
Black face was created as a way of demeaning and making fun of black people. Black negative.
Now look at the history of white face. People painting their face white has a long tradition
of social hierarchy, being healthy and pure. We know why they actually did it but it doesn't change the fact on
how white face was portrayed and used in history as a status symbol. White positive
To answer your question white face doesn't have the same negative implications as black face does.

I know you're not diminishing anything. I get that you look at all sides and form your honest opinion. If you're gay you can hide that. What I mean is that you can be gay under the radar and hide that. I'm not trying to diminish what the LGBTQ community deals with but I'm sure you get my point. Like many do/did. If you're black or Asian you don't always have that luxury. I can't agree that we all mock strong women as "Karens". From what I've seen the women we label as "Karen" is a very specific type. The women I've seen labeled as "Karen" are not strong at all but I think I get what you're saying. There's a difference between a caricature and being demeaning. I look it as white people have been in control since the beginning. Women have had a say for roughly 100 years and still don't have equal rights. Black people have only had a legitimate say for about 50 years. I mean an actual fair right to vote and even that's open to debate these days. If we look at the country's history as whole and the actual amount of time minorities have had a say it's in it's infancy. We can't erase several hundred years of oppression with 50 years of social change.
