Shire play their first game since grassroots football returned next Saturday.
They play local club Avonmouth away.
Avonmouth's ground is easy walking distance from me... But next Saturday is the 10th of April. Supporters can't return to grassroots football until two days later on Monday 12th.
Now then... One of my neighbours who I get on well with is involved with Avonmouth FC on the committee.
I think there's a good case to be made to him that Avonmouth could use an extra club volunteer steward or litter picker next Saturday. I've got my own hi-viz coat. I can write 'steward' or 'volunteer' on the back of it 🧐
