I never liked licorice at all, but when I went to Iceland a few years ago, I developed a taste for it. The fine folks in that beautiful country love their licorice. Some of the candy stores I ventured into would have a selection of the stuff that had a grading scale from mellow to intense in terms of flavor.
Consider me a convert.

I like Australian licorice but it has to be red, I hate the regular licorice flavor.

I know everybody has different tastes, but I can't imagine not liking licorice, that'd be like not liking chocolate, or gummy bears.
