Web series review;
Certainly you can comment on the show if you saw it. But more importantly --- do you think this review is misogynistic, creepy or perverted?

I'm just curious who you think has a good body if Anya doesn't. She's gorgeous.

I'm just wondering why it's necessary to go into high-school descriptions of what she looked like. That entire first paragraph needs to be eliminated. I thought she was adorable and played the role commendably. Great series, and it wasn't boring at all!!

This is not a professional critic posting his weekly review in a magazine or website. This is just a movie viewer giving their opinion on a message board.

I don't think it's misogynistic, but it is juvenile and superficial. What is superficial about a guy being critically aware of the attractiveness of a Hollywood actress? Isn't that normal behavior? Don't girls, ladies and women take notice, and value a man who is attractive?

Enough saying she is pretty; you don't need to go into silly nonsense that doesn't matter. Yes, you have your opinion, but you negate the balance of your review with that silly infantile first paragraph.

And they can tell the difference between physical perfection, and anything else. I never condemned Anya Taylor Joy. I was just listing her strong and weak points. It was just one negative observation among many positive observations of a tangible and intangible nature. You want to be an entertainer, you got to do what people like. And the more you do, the more people will be impressed and entertained. And if you don't, people are going to notice. That's all I did.

You sexualized her, and in doing so right off the bat, negated your entire review. That you can't see that speaks to your juvenile mindset.

Nothing wrong with that.

Nothing wrong with that. Yes, but unless you are writing for a sex rag or girlie mag, it has no place in a review. I'm guessing you're about 12, right?

Just because you have lost interest in sex Pinky, doesn't mean everybody else has. I'm sorry for your loss. Your presumption is erroneous, as is your outlook on the merits of sexualizing a character in an otherwise bland review. Infantile and childish.

Definitely. If this a review of the show she's on then how she looks or the size or color of her eyes don't matter. Then you talk about her body and say she didn't have the "best" body. What does that have to with her portrayal of the character? Why do you get to judge her body write it's not the "best"? Some people may argue what "best" means.
How she looks has no bearing on her talent or acting ability or how good or bad the show is. Which is what a review should be.

It wasn't necessary for me to write a review. But I wanted to share my thoughts, feelings and opinions. Those were my thoughts, feelings and opinions.

I'm not a professional critic posting and article for a magazine or website. I'm just a viewer posting my opinion on a message board. I get that but it doesn't change the fact that how she looks has nothing to do with the show. Being a professional or not doesn't matter in the sexualization or objectifying of women. If you didn't like her big brown eyes or her red hair would you have mentioned it?
