I'm not a professional critic posting and article for a magazine or website. I'm just a viewer posting my opinion on a message board. I get that but it doesn't change the fact that how she looks has nothing to do with the show. Being a professional or not doesn't matter in the sexualization or objectifying of women. If you didn't like her big brown eyes or her red hair would you have mentioned it? Yep. Just like I said I thought she didn't have the best body. I listed what I liked, and what I didn't.

What does her looks have to do with her acting ability or how she portrayed the character? It has nothing to do with that. Neither does the writing, the dialogue, the special effects, the directing, the sets, the other actors, the producers, etc. I was telling people what I liked and disliked about the web series.

That has everything to do with the web series because that's pertinent to the actual show. How you view her looks isn't pertinent. You asked the question, dude. From the looks of it I'm not telling you different than most people. You can justify all you want. What was the point of this post? Was it to actually try to learn something and grow as a person or was it to argue and justify your actions?

To find out other people's opinions. And to challenge my own position. Can't argue that. So the question remains, will you change how you review and stop objectifying women? Also, why did you ask this question? Were you called out on this review or did you have self doubt on the subject?

Healthy women like being objectified. As long as they are respected for being human beings. And not JUST a sex object. (Men like to be objectified also. Who doesn't want to be seen as sexy?)

That's a blanket statement and by no means is inclusive to all heterosexual men. I'm not even sure what "healthy women" even means, not to mention the word "like". How do you know even know? I can't argue the men liking to be objectified statement. I can only speak to my personal experience. It makes me very uncomfortable when women "like" me based on my looks. Looks come and go and has nothing to do with who and what you're about.

I studied psychology and sociology in college. Although I'm not a practicing professional, it's always been an interest of mine. I talk to lots of people. I research developments in psychology and sociology. I've counseled males on how to be successful in male/female relations. Ive also counseled people with Asperger's Syndrome on how to communicate with "normal" people. I like being seen as a sex object. Women say they love being seen as sex objects. But they still want respect. In other words, "Yes, I'm a sex object. But not just a sex object. I'm a person also, with other interests, abilities and desires."

Talking to "lots of people" doesn't really mean much. If I talked to "lots of white supremacist" what would that get me? No offense but if you were counseling men on female relationships I'd be a bit worried. Scared, in fact! Yes I know I'm assuming. Most all women I know want to respected as something other than a "sex object". If they had the choice as a "sex object" wouldn't enter into the equation. Who are these women you speak of?

I probably should have said, "I talk WITH lots of people. Sorry. People of all ages, sexes, religions, races, sexual persuasions, etc. My clients choose me. They have all been more than satisfied with our results. I'm single. I've been dating for 45 years. Not one woman has ever complained I'm a mysogynist, a sexist, or a pervert. Same goes with the parents of the children I've babysitted.

Not saying you are but how do you know what they complained about? Just because they didn't complain to you doesn't mean they didn't complain. How do you know??

After 45 years of dating, I think I would have heard something. And believe me, these women have never been afraid to tell me what they think --- critical or complimentary. I friends with their friends too.

Were you ever looking for "the one' or wasn't that on the radar?

I friends with their friends too. Dude, 45 years of dating is a long time. Were you ever looking for "the one' or wasn't that on the radar? I dated one girl for 7 years. I proposed to her. She never said no. But she wouldn't say yes. So I told her this is going nowhere. I want to break up. She came over crying. So we stayed together for about 4 months until she could find somebody new. She married him. A few months later she called me and said she thought she made a mistake. She should have married me instead. By then they had a kid together. I told her that's very flattering. But it's too late now. Since then, there has been nobody who I thought was relationship material. And the older I got, the more I appreciated my freedom. Especially compared to my married friends. What about you?

A little bit. The first couple sentences are unnecessary in talking about her looks.
If the character she was based on was known for having a great body, then the comments would make sense. As is, it just comes off as the reviewer being a judgmental and shallow for no apparent reason.

Wait, that is your review? You asked for people's opinion. I have issues with the comments about her body, because her body has nothing to do with the show. In context with the purpose of a movie review, commenting on her body (unless her body being a certain way has something to do with the story) is unnecessary.

I find that curious.
