To be fair, this isn’t an audiobook and she didn’t get the role by auditioning on The Voice. A lot of thought and deliberation goes into casting decisions, and I would dispute anyone who says those things don’t matter. I’ll even bring the hair, makeup, and wardrobe departments to the podium with me. I can't dispute that mostly cuz it's true. On the flipside Hollywood has been doing this since the beginning. (Enter Jeffrey Epstein) Doesn't make it right. Women and all of us have been conditioned to believe that this should matter. At what point does it stop? Sadly, at the end of the day it all comes down to money and/or fame. From producers to plastic surgeons. We all choose what's important to us.
