...produced by Adam Sandler’s company, starring Kevin James as Sean Payton.
If Saints fans ever had grounds for a class-action suit, it’d be for this.

So it's a comedy? That's pretty wild.

So it's a comedy? That's pretty wild. It may be focusing on the period of time Payton coached the kids. If so haven’t we already had a thousand movies in that genre? Little Giants for example.

Ah, so it isn't actually about Bountygate, then. But he's still the hero of the story. It's always going to be insane to me that people hate the Patriots while the Saints get a pass. Deflategate has been proven completely false, but people still bring it up. Meanwhile this asshat coached a team that was trying to injure their opponents and nobody cares. They should've won more often, I guess. I blame their weak division.

The Giants used to purposefully open and close doors that were under the seats right behind the goal posts at either end of the old stadium in order to manipulate wind tunnels to either help the Giants or hinder the opposition.

True. But it wasn't against the rules.

True. But it wasn't against the rules. Which is insane. Might be one those situations where it didn't occur to anyone before to make a rule about it because it never really came up until then. Like Air Bud.

In my prior response to you, I was going to say something along the lines of "it's also not against the rules to shoot heroin into your testicles within 5 minutes of running out to midfield, defecating into your hand and throwing it at the official." Consider it a missed opportunity on my part.

My guess is it's what you're describing, like a Little Giants kinda thing, with that the notion of an asshole, hard ass kinda coach being punished and sent to coach kids for doing something brutal juxtaposed against pee wee football; but I really doubt that his character will be called Sean Payton coach of the New Orleans Saints by the time it's developed as a finished movie. It sounds like it'll be a dumb comedy.

I'm talking about the lingering effect on their reputation, not how they were punished in the moment. Where are the people on the internet always bringing up Bountygate? Because if you start talking about the Patriots, you better believe 'cheating' comes up.

If I were to guess, and of course this is just a guess the Patriots thing gets brought up because they have been accused and or found guilty more than once with whatever the filming practice thing was against the Rams. So they are deemed as repeat offenders. Didnt they just lose like a 3rd or 4th round draft pick this year for breaking another rule?
