How are you feeling? Are you freaking out ? How do you feel? autumn Yeah, a little bit. It affected only 6 women out of almost 6 million shots given so the odds are extremely low. But the news is plastered everywhere and there's no escape. I also do not have low platelet count, which is what the risk factor was. I'm not on birth control (which causes blood clots in 1 in 10,000 women). Overall my risk is low. I had zero side effects after the injection. Not so much as a sore arm, no headache, no chills, no fever, no body aches, no intestinal problems. I feel perfectly normal. I also read this can happen up to 3 weeks or so. I'm staying in touch with my provider....

Enigma, I'm so glad that your daughter has this behind her. I know you were worried.
My friends who got Pfizer seemed to have sailed through with little after effect. My 2nd Moderna had me "fluish," on the day after, but OK after that.

If you got it today, your arm will be sore tomorrow. I got it Sunday. Oh, cool. Lucky you. I could barely raise my arm after my first shot, but it didn't last long. Second one made me slightly feverish for a few hours. Tanya got really sick for about a week after her second shot.

All the best. You will be FINE. I know its hard to escape all the negative coverage but remember thays what the media thrives on. The odds here is same as pretty much any other medication we normally take without blinking once. It will be all good. I believe it. Drink a lot and relax. Check out my self soothing thread for some tips on how.

Tanya got really sick for about a week after her second shot. That was one reason I was so happy to get the single shot, is I heard a lot of people had a whopper of a reaction to that 2nd shot. The woman who watched my dog for me while I went to get mine also had that same flu reaction to her 2nd shot.

Check out my self soothing thread for some tips on how. I know with the AZ vaccine, the number of reactions was in the hundreds, and with J&J it was just 6, so.... there's that. I'm staying vigilant, and I'm still so surprised that at least thus far, I haven't had any type of reaction, even soreness. They told me to expect mild headache or body aches within 24 hours (at the vaccination site), so I figured yay, I was good to go. Then I checked the news today. Urghh.... Thank you Nora, for your kind words (as always!)

She was so sick after the second shot, she had to go to the doctor and was tested positive for Covid with a swab. They did a second test that's said to be more accurate and reliable and it was negative. I'm guessing her false positive raised the number of "covid cases" by one.

My wife is an RN in charge of the COVID Unit. They were one of the first to get the vaccine. They had about one in four get sick for a day or two. There was a lot of worries, up to having people from the CDC and the Company come up to investigate. It mellowed out after a couple weeks. Now it’s less than one in fifty that get sick
