Beginning with Inglourious Basterds, it seemed to mark a new phase of Tarantino's career. One where his craftsmanship rose to meet his skilled storytelling.
Inglourious Basterds - 4 out 4
The Hateful Eight - 3.5 out 4. Didn't like it much at first but repeated viewings have made it one of my favorites from the previous decade.
Django Unchained - 3.5 out 4 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - 3 out of 4. Probably his most meandering work. Like Hateful Eight, I've softened up to it with subsequent viewings.

I'd rank them in release order, but I love all 4 of them. 10/10 for Basterds, 9/10 for the other 3.

The Hateful Eight -8/10
Inglorious Basterds -8/10
Django Unchained -8/10
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood -5/10
Hollywood is the only Tarantino movie I liked *less* the second time, and next to Death Proof the only one I'm not really a fan of. Basterds on the other hand goes up each viewing. I've only seen Django once but really liked it (fourth act included). I've seen H8 like four times and always enjoy it; it's almost like a return to early Tarantino with thugs simply in a room talking and tensions rising.

I've only seen Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, I'd give it an 8. If it weren't for the language, the violence and Dicaprio's constant whining bullshit, my mom would love it, she loves Hollywood Knights because it did such a great job at recreating the look and sound of 1965, and as much work as was put into recreating the 60s look here, she would love it, if it weren't for all that.

I kind of chop and change, go back and forth, as I really like all these movies. I hope he has another in him as it's only his mid-period works that sag a little for me. But back when he was fresh out the gate, then later entering the last lap at the bell's ring, I think he's been something else.
