Is that a brand new Vestron release? Have not been too updated on their recent releases, but did notice that last fall, they put out a couple of new ones, or well, older ones, but towards the European Blu-ray copies. I think The Wrath, (an old Francis Ford Coppolla horror movie) and a vampire Bruce Campbell late 80s film as well, were part of that collection from the Vestron collectors series. Yeah its the first Vestron Blu Ray I bought.

Great minds think alike. I bought it on Monday. I was killing time in Walmart and decided what the hell, at that price. I haven't rewatched it since it first came to rental VHS. I was going to go on ahead and pick up Steel Dawn as well but my store didn't have it anymore.

I was going to go on ahead and pick up Steel Dawn as well but my store didn't have it anymore. Steel Dawn is also out on Vestron Blu-ray? That makes me quite interested, as I might have got hold of it (but somehow ended up completely forgetting it) back in last summer/fall. However, as with The Wrath (1986), I do own both on DVD (I think I also have an old worn down rental VHS copy of Steel Dawn, lying somewhere in my storage room) but those are quite older DVDs, and I remember always liking Steel Dawn, kind of a Mad Max/Post-apocalyptic "Road House" action-adventure, and one which could surely be upgrade some day.

So many tempting new releases out. Sadly, I kind of overspent due to last falls Black Friday, and have to be a bit more tight with the money for a while now. But that Kindred Blu-ray release by Synapse, really impressive looking, even if I have yet to see the film.

Damn, I was not even ware (until now) that MacGyver is out on Blu-ray. Sure, the artwork is kind of, well, not that "great", but it is whats inside, that counts. Hope the quality is solid, and where there any new bonus features included?

-Theatrical Trailer Thanks for bringing up the bonus features. Looks interesting, maybe I have to seek this one out. I liked that they are going for the almost identical artwork/look, to both of my VHS and DVD copies.

While the quality is great there are no bonus features. Also it seems only Season 1 is available on blu-ray so far.I guess that is kind of understandable, since they probably want to see where it might lead on, with how popular the sales turn out. Hopefully it catches on, so much that the remaining seasons also comes out. Kind of sad, when good/great tv-shows, only get a few seasons, then it just stops, and nothing more is released. Of course, with MacGyver, it has already been out a couple of times on DVD, but for those seeking out an upgraded version of their favorite show, it might be exciting to follow up, and hopefully it will continue on with further seasons on.

Got a new 4K tv, so I bough Godzilla vs Kong 4K Blu-ray. Evidently my blu ray player isn’t 4K, even though it says so right ON THE FUCKING DISC TRAY. So now I have to buy another blu ray player.
