I really wished I could get more out of that film, as I picked up a bit of a too expensive DVD last year, and so much wanted to love it. Also, it had "The greatest werewolf movie" tagline on the artwork, so it sure set maybe a bit too high of expectations for my part, but ended up only giving it a 5/10. But that (your Blu-ray cover" is surely a 10/10 piece of artwork. Could almost see myself, re-purchashing it, only for the cover itself.

Dream a Little Dream (1989) [Blu-ray | Vestron] Is that a brand new Vestron Blu-ray collectors release? Not sure if I have seen it before now. However, I am damn sure, I almost picked up the film (through some late night browsing on Youtube) a while ago, but might look it up someday, and if it catches on, maybe go for the Blu-ray copy.

Tentacles (1977) [Blu-ray | Kino Lorber] I have a scandinavian DVD copy of that film. Seen it twice, but yeah, beside some rather big "cameos", and a few memorable scenes, it just did not manage to stand out, as one of the better animals-attack releases of the 70s. However, along with The Last Jaws aka Cruel Shark from the early 80s, it might sit down well, as two cheesy b-movies, with nasty sea creatures, for one night "only".

Vice Academy 4 (1995) Vice Academy 5 (1996) Dead Reckoning (1947) The Lady From Shanghai (1947) How is actually some of these (if you have seen a few of the earlier entries) Vice Academy films? Are they like a low budget/sexy b-movie version, of The Police Academy films? Anyway, the reason to why I am a bit curious, is probably most to do with knowing (at least I am pretty sure of) that the lovely Linnea Quigley appears in a few of the films. Might be one of the earlier though. Yeah sort of a knock-off. I would say the series is playfully cheeky then straight up raunchy. However very low-rent. Well, this is the same director of Hobgoblins; Rick Sloane. Really gets by on the energy of its cast, but Sloane manages some charming touches. He sure loves his neon lighting and bright decors. I own the first three on bluray. I really enjoy the first two films (with Quigley). Part 3 was so-so, but the behind the scenes stories for it, especially between Wing Hauser’s then girlfriend Darcy DeMoss & former porn actress Ginger Lynn was probably more interesting. Need to check out the commentary track to see if Sloane discuses any of it. Never seen Parts 4,5 & 6, but since the always delightful Elizabeth Kaitan (who replaced Quigley in Part 3) returns for the latter films. I decided to take a chance.

Seems like I might have to try, at least to give a few of them a go, then see where I might be heading up next. The fact that they went on, for so long, I guess the magic of straight to video films back then, were strong with this franchise. Might also help out, that they had so many lovely ladies on display.

Dream a Little Dream (1989) [Blu-ray | Vestron] Is that a brand new Vestron Blu-ray collectors release? Yes. Has nostalgic value, but probably not worth the current price otherwise.
Special features: - Audio commentary (Rather fawning; thought it was a put-on early on. Some criticism would have been nice.)
- Interviews: Corey Feldman / Executive producer Lawrence Kasanoff
- Trailer / TV Spots / Still Gallery
