Have never seen it, but always been interested in doing so. As it seems like one of the "lost" or kind of forgotten Nicholson films of the early 80s. I guess by now, you might have seen it? Anyway, damn, a whole lot of some very tempting Blu-ray releases have been posted in here, I wold love to get my hands on the 4K editions of Dead Heat and Ticks, even if I own them both on DVD, but so much fun, and yeah, sometimes you just have to do a bit of double-dipping, every now and then. Yeah, The Border is a mostly forgotten Jack Nicholson movie. Not great, but it's pretty good. Jack gave a terrific performance as always. This DVD I bought was on sale for 7 bucks, so I thought what the hell. When it comes to buying movies, I've double-dipped, triple-dipped, and on rare occasions I even quadruple-dipped.

Good to hear that The Border was not a misfire, and you enjoyed it. Yep, I have also done my own triple, and more dipping, sometimes when I look back, some rather ridiculous ones, due to paper-slipcover, often from Anchor Bay, and some of their most re-released films, and the only difference between the old DVD copy, and the new one, was that mentioned slipcover, and maybe some added "Cult Collection" or "Limited Special Edition", but yeah, if anything else changed since last time, the prize also went up, even more. I soon learned to hold back, at least when it came to their kind of "newly" released titles, of the ones you already owned.

Just the DVD. I actually never seen it before. I have seen the lame 2006 one though.

1. 2. I had this from the UK (region free) BUT.... A. "Christmas Vacation" comes out in 4k on Nov. 1st. I have it on pre-order B. I have a second copy of European Vacation. It's in a Triple Feature with Blazing Saddles and Caddyshack. I had Blazing Saddles by it's self but in 2020, FYE Only wanted $5 for the triple feature and Caddyshack by it's self was more than the triple feature. I gave Blazing Saddles to a friend So I re-bought the first 2 and sent the 4 pack to another friend. I thought about just sending him European and Xmas but the cases are different in the 4 pack and they don't sit right on my shelf with the other movies. So I just sent him the 4 pack and re-bought the "Vacation" And "Vegas vacation"s individual releases since they weren't that much.

Hey James, I noticed you gave Deep Red a very good rating on the Progress thread. That's awesome, I'm pleased to see you liked it! Quite possibly my favorite Argento film.
