Another fun filled and campy as hell, post apocalyptic b-movie, America 3000 (1986) is well worth a watch, for fans of these kind of ridiculous and enjoyable 70s and 80s movies:

2017 Blade Runner 2049 1941 (loved it as a teenager when it came out; far less so upon re-watching it decades later) 2001 1981 (Ricardo Trogi) There are two sequels, 1987 and 1991, but the first one s the best.

I would’ve voted for that in a heartbeat. I believe ya. I was expecting some sleazy/nasty vigilante b-movie, the first time I saw it, but what I got was quite a well acted and written drama-thriller, of course, with some surely added sleaze and cheese as well, but where Perry King and for me, Roddy McDowall puts in such fine performances, that yeah, a cult-classic indeed:
