.........The Greatest Song of All Time?
The song is about art's ability to unite. The song and the titular film sharing the same name is an attempt by the musical genius Todd Pipes to predct the future: his song will bring people together and possible lead to men ejecting their semen inside of women just like the film does and has. The song is meta level art that transcends the one dimensional thinking of the pop music critics who dismissed it. In addition the guitar noise that comes in on the chorus is the finest playing in all of rock. I would call it Wagnerian if it weren't superior to any sounds Wagner ever created.
Breakfast at Tiffany's by Deep Blue Something is the Greatest Song of All Time.

There was a link that someone provided that was a list of the worst songs of all time. Can't remember if it was on here or the old boards.
"Breakfast At Tiffany's" was one of the songs on the list.
I thought....really?!
Back in an article from years ago, "Penny Lane" by the Beatles was described as a 'perfect' song.
"Breakfast At Tiffany's" is my "Penny Lane".

Actually, the greatest song of all time is "I Can See Clearly Now" by Screeching Weasel.
Why people continue to record songs after this, just baffles me!

I would say it's the greatest song about mediocre romance if nothing else. 😉

I hope that you're being ironic. I remember that song was way overplayed at the time, and it's still not very good.
