Yeah, Ray Fisher is bitch fighting Joss Whedon in an isolated argument like many other actors and actresses have had onset arguements with their directors previously on other genre movies. This isn't specifically a "superhero industry" only problem. It's an ego only problem. Yeah and he also alleged racism I believe. No, it's not. I didnt say it was exclusive but it would still add some weight to the politics of the decision. Whedon is also connected to the MCU Yes, there are accusations of racism from Ray Fisher. That doesn't mean that Marvel shouldn't recast Black Panther because of what's happening a million miles away at DC. |

Recasting a character like T’Challa would be distracting. Too distracting? What's distracting for you? You know the actor is dead and that he can't be brought back, move on already. There's no such thing as "a character like" it's just a role not your daddy. It would be distracting because he’s been a major character in the MCU. Recasting a minor character is one thing, but he’s not a minor character.

There's no such thing as "a character like" it's just a role not your daddy. It would be distracting because he’s been a major character in the MCU. Recasting a minor character is one thing, but he’s not a minor character. Do I need to explain to you the amount of major characters in franchises that have been replaced with new actors without the end of the fucking world to you or are we good here? |

Did you not read my previous reply to you? He'll be replacing Chadwick's role as Tchalla. There are no continuity problems apart from the actor playing the role who irrelevant to the MCU. |

Won’t him just being gone be distracting too? Having watched tv shows like The Office that continued without the main character I can tell you it’s incredibly distracting.

I admit I have always preferred Howard’s version by far, and Rhodes has never really been interesting to me since IM1 (as much as I really do like Cheadle as an actor). But the change was preferable to just writing out the character forever.

I admit I have always preferred Howard’s version by far, and Rhodes has never really been interesting to me since IM1 (as much as I really do like Cheadle as an actor). But the change was preferable to just writing out the character forever. I got used to Don Cheadle, but Terrance Howard was only there for a single movie, so that made it easier to accept a recast.

And filming begins very soon. A recast seems extremely unlikely, however much I think they should reconsider.
