I won't pretend like the article is good*, but that doesn't excuse the way you created this clickbait thread. Come on, you're better than that.
*Some of those complains already existed back when those movies came out. And not all of those complaints are about politically incorrect movies winning, but rather politically correct movies losing. Not to mention that one can make an argument for all those winners having something topical in their scripts/casts.

No one is cancelling films. Birth of a Nation has not & will not ever be fully discarded.
As for Oscar winners, I came to grips years ago now - the awards are purely in the moment. Unless we start nominating & awarding what movies/categories Will Look Best On Paper 5+ Years From Now award, then keep calm & chill on.

I love The Artist and watch it every New Year's Eve. It's one of those Best Picture winners that are constantly disparaged, yet IMO, it's one of the few times the Academy got it right. It won for cinematic style, not for any well-meaning, poltically correct content.

I wasn't even a big fan of Birdman but no way does the article think it should be 'banned'. Just that it suggested that 'Boyhood' was the superior movie released that year.
