It's not hypocrisy. It is paranoia of vaccines because of the myth that they cause autism and stuff like that. I think there was some evidence there was some truth there, until it was shown to be false. Other medications don't have those myths as far as I'm aware. COVID specifically is thought to be a big conspiracy by the government by the ant-vaxxers. This is why they don't wear masks too. I personally don't trust the COVID vaccine completely because it is new (this would go for anything I am unfamiliar with that is going in my body), not because I think there is some government conspiracy going on. I am still going to get the vaccine though. New things are always scary. And I admit I had some hesitancy. But then I read up on it and the mRNA approach is not entirely new. It’s been used in other therapies for decades. I’m convinced of it’s safety. And if it kills us all with delayed side effects ten years down the line? Well, that’s life, I suppose. But it’s a very unlikely scenario and there’s no evidence to suggest such a thing is possible. Vaccines get a lot of unwarranted paranoia, which is not always hypocrisy, but it does usually originate from myth and ignorance.

Most people aren't gonna die from Covid either, most people didn't even know they had it until they got a positive test for it. Ooooh, that's really scary, 'I'm so sick, I had no idea I even had anything'.

This might be the dumbest post on COVID I have ever read.

You're the one that just said 'we may die in 10 years from the vaccine's delayed side effects', well Covid effects aren't all going to be automatic either, so people should be allowed to take whatever chances they want to. It's their life, wear your mask and don't ever take it off if you're that scared.

We won’t die in ten years. There’s no evidence or reason to think that. You’re taking my sarcasm out of context.

If someone is actually after you then it isn't paranoia is what I like to say, though I think that is already a saying.

A slow death that you don't know is even happening is always the preferred way to go.

I know for a fact I've been chipped because I'm vaccinated.

Only side effect is this sudden desire for one world govt, I don't understand why. And every morning I face towards Billy Gates and pray to his lordship.

I think it's "You're not paranoid if you're right", and I firmly believe that.

You have to actually be right though.

I have a friend who will take the flu shot, but not the COVID shot. She called everyone who got it lab rats. Guess what happened weeks after? She got COVID and now has respiratory issues and still refuses to get it. Not only that she’s diabetic and she has heart problems. I called her out for it too. And she told me I needed to calm down.

Had both shots here in Belfast months ago. No problems whatsoever.

it's not that I'm against it, It feels rushed and understudied.
Long term side effects are unknown at this moment because of the fact the vaccine is rushed and understudied.
I just worry in 5 or 10 years, we'll see those commercials :
"if you took the covid-19 vaccine in 2021 and are experiencing the following symptoms, you may be entitled to financial compensation."

You missed the vaccine conspiracy angle but I'll take that as a good sign. I was in the beer store and some chick was spinning a yarn about Nazis taking over NASA and something something with Bill Gates, One World Govt, and covid vaccines. The employee looked like he wanted to kill himself.
