well -- in the case of 'Alfie' ... there was no last name at least nothing that would line up with the initials list positioned at #12-C

Well, I was just going off the names in the imdb database. I'm not handling things very well in this game for whatever reason. Sorry for my confusion. But for the record, my source is almost always the imdb site, and in the case of Alfie, they list no last name. And sometimes, even if I do more research, there's only one name given. I see -- and that's why I avoided single name entries. Even when trying to be careful, there's still a slipup. At the last minute I had to eliminate Robert Newton and Oliver Reed. In OLIVER TWIST, Newton is 'Bill SYKES' / in OLIVER!, Reed is 'Bill SIKES' so the initials would not have been lined up correctly such is the weary life of a Quizmaster
