I'd say that there's lucky people, unlucky people, medium luck people, and people who are both very lucky and very unlucky. I'd put myself in the last camp.

No.
I believe people learn traits from their parents and their environment. Then those tendencies become comfortable... good or bad.
So people tend to do what is comfortable because it’s easy, whether it serves them positive or negatively.
Therefore, no one is born lucky or unlucky... you just follow traits of learned behavior.

What about differences in memory on particular subjects, level of visual or auditory imagination, reflexes, coordiation, or variation in ability to acquire and retain muscle mass? There are some things that can be learned and one can acquire a level of curiosity but there's other things like low IQ or inherited Fibromyalgia that are just flat out bad luck.

I get that there's a large amount of things in life that you can do to better yourself and that people often don't do them out of comfort or conformity. I just think that there are many afflictions that really do get in the way of being a 'lucky' person and inhibit people from being successful past a certain point.

There are definitely lucky and unlucky people , but it's random . If you're a poor guy living on the street amongst millions of other homeless people in India or other poor third world country , then you're definitely unlucky , compared to a Western person who has parents who have been able to help them establish themselves as an adult . It's the same if you live in a poor village in the middle of the desert in Africa . You're chances or level of learning are not really good . You could say the same about the people in the Arab nations too . You sit in the middle of a war zone and you have nothing . Now , if you want to know about good and bad people , that a different question , isn't it ?

Luck and not having luck will always play a role to some extent in life.

No, not luck.
Circumstance, opportunity and personal decisions play a roll in how things turn out; not luck.

I do not believe that people are inherently lucky or unlucky.

I’m in the same camp as a certain wise old man, where I come from there’s no such thing as luck.

It's all random even the luckiest of people are part of the 'life lottery' so yeah there are lucky and unlucky people but its a matter of chance and numbers not magic or a higher power.
