It was, and STILL is......what I liked about Ed's shows was the sheer VARIETY of the acts he'd have over the course of the evening !! And even though those plate-spinning, and other 'novelty' acts seem quaint by today's standards, I have to admit that it's VERY hard NOT to be charmed by them !! But you're right......the MUSIC was, and ALWAYS will be, 'king' on those old shows of his....  SAVE FERRIS
