Have had this happen more than once. What gives? I don't really hear western men asking this.

I think it's normal to try and figure out if you guys have the same life goals. Children can be a deal breaker either way.

I think it's normal to try and figure out if you guys have the same life goals. Children can be a deal breaker either way. The latest guy to ask me this is another student from my school whom I met in a Russian speakers' club (i.e. a group chat). He knows I have a boyfriend. Another (Russian) guy I met 2 years ago at a right-wing political meeting asked me the same thing, and this guy voted for that party too, and their voices and accents even sound the same. It's like deja vu!

Another (Russian) guy I met 2 years ago at a right-wing political meeting asked me the same thing, and this guy voted for that party too, and their voices and accents even sound the same. It's like deja vu! Rehashing an old thread (and giving an update to this board) but both the Russian guys mentioned here know the Italian guy I'm currently seeing, whom I call Milo. And Milo asked me if I thought of having kids rather early on too.

And Milo not only asks whether I've thought of having kids, but also referred to my stuffed polar bear as "our son," asked me how many kids I'd like and if I prefer girls or boys, told me his parents are begging for grandchildren and he's their only hope for that as his brother has autism, and told me to tell him if I get pregnant because he "doesn't want me to be alone."
