I'm looking at clips with Glen Close and it looks OK. Kinda reminds me "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" which I really enjoyed. Hell Richard Roeper gave it 4 stars.

I mean it's from a competent director, so I think it's probably worth seeing at least once.

So you liked it? Would you compare it to something like "Gilbert Grape"?

I actually think it is decent, in large part because of the excellent performances from Amy Adams and Glenn Close.
The script is the main problem with the movie, but I think Ron Howard does his best to make it work.
Hans Zimmer's score is also good.
6.5/10
It is nothing like What's Eating Gilbert Grape though.

Exactly, it’s one of those films where the acting is phenomenal and the story is weak. I actually thought Glenn Close would win.

It was pretty good, even thought it wasn't totally in line with the book. Liked it a lot. Glenn Close was very good!
