It’s a Lucasfilm production, meaning that Kathleen Kennedy is producing it, so is it inevitable that the new Indiana Jones movie will inspire its own online culture wars, just like what happened with Star Wars? And what would the Indiana Jones equivalent of the Fandom Menace be called? The Fandom of Doom?

The Disney Star Wars movies have a higher per film box office average than the MCU.

Not that it can't be rejuvenated, but I thought it already had one over Kingdom of the Crystal Skull when it came out?

Marvel isn't Star Wars, and Star Wars isn't Marvel, your comparison(which has been debunked as an ineffective defense several times I might add) doesn't work. Also, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still going fine and didn't really need to go back to the drawing board time and again like Star Wars has under Kathleen Kennedy.

At this point one can expect the worst but be pleasantly surprised if it’s actually good. Disney is an affront to good taste.
