Fascinating account of Robert MacNeil's harrowing experience in Dealey Plaza on the day of J.F.K.'s assassination (If you want to skip the "prelude", the actual assassination account begins at about the 8:23 mark of this video): If you choose to watch this, make sure to stick with it until the end, to find out whom MacNeil may have had an actual face to face encounter with on that fateful day in Dallas, without even realizing it at the time...... SAVE FERRIS

There was an old B/W show, You Are There, that reenacted big historical events. From the death of Joan of Arc to Roger Bannister breaking the four minute mile. hosted by Walter Cronkite and his cool as hell opening line
"What sort of day was it? A day like all days, filled with those events that alter and illuminate our times... and you were there"
Great program. Beat the bejezzus out of Pawn Stars
