Let me introduce you to Dominion Dating a dating website for Christian men who are fed up with feminism. If the name alone is not enough, the membership agreement should do the trick: There are plenty of Bible scholars who would argue that patriarchy is a result of Original Sin and therefore not part of God’s original plan for mankind. That doesn’t seem to matter here.
There is no biblical mandate for this, either. The infamous “Proverbs 31 woman” that is revered in conservative circles was herself a business woman. There are female deacons mentioned in the New Testament. Plenty of women “worked” in the Bible and were even celebrated for it, but these mankind people see woman working outside the kitchen to be a threat to their supposed superiority.
Jesus never said, “Skip college for a wedding ring.” (At least I don’t think so.) Marriage is not a One Size Fits All. I also personally believe that this kind of arrangement is a set-up for physical dominance and violence.
The site is set to launch August 1. They are already selling one month memberships. Why just one month? Well, there must be an abundance of women ready to grab these available masculine prizes. How could any woman resist?

"Skip college for a wedding ring" is found in Matthew 27:12.

On the plus side, if all these psychos are on that site, it should improve the other sites exponentially.

I’m a happily married lesbian so obviously this has nothing to do with me, but I’m not gonna question what others want out of a relationship. As ridiculous as this sounds, it has a right to exist and more power to them. If to each their own really is a thing them let each get their way if possible.

There is no biblical mandate for this, either. So...from a Christian doctrine POV, was the NT wrong in their discussions about the man being the head of the woman?
I Corinthians 11:3
I Corinthians 14
I Timothy 2:
And in Ephesians 5 Paul writes:
I don't find this equivocal unless one wants to eqivocate.

So are you the top or bottom in the relationship? I’m not explaining anything to you, use your imagination.

I’m not explaining anything to you, use your imagination. Then you're a bottom. So much for you being a polite and modern progressive. Seriously, grow up.

So much for you being a polite and modern progressive. Seriously, grow up. What's wrong with being a bottom? And young lady, you offered up your sexual orientation in the post in your defense of Christian male domination. The point of my post was that whatever anyone, Christian or otherwise, wants to do dating wise is valid and none of our business. As for me, if it's so important for you to know about my sex life, I'm always the more likely one to wear the strap on!

Yes, if a woman wants to be submissive to the type of male domination that for centuries was consider the norm and she risks the fire of Hell if she does not submit...is still considered the only godly way for many...that's their business. But it is not a kink, it is a mindset and many woman have no choice in the relationship. Not these days in modern countries, but please continue to tell woman how they should think and behave, that will get you far in life! It might be naive, but I like to believe in the best of people and I'm willing to let anyone live how they should as long as it's not hurting anyone else.

If you want a man to tell you when to breathe and have him fuck you when you don't want him it, that's your business. Ok, now you're just being silly. No man has ever told me what to do and never will. I don't know what kind of bizarro land you live in, but me and my wife don't and have never lived there. I get you have some very hard lined political beliefs but I never believed they were this ridiculous.

My point is having a sexual orientation that replicates 30 thousand years of the male to female relationship is nothing to value. There is not one thing edgy or rebellious about it. Ok, never said it was. Are we even talking about the same thing at this point?

Ok, never said it was. Are we even talking about the same thing at this point? but I’m not gonna question what others want out of a relationship. Which is fine, but what this date app advocates is a big step in the wrong direction. Also, Princess, your posts tend to be snarky sarcasm, so what is your problem with me being sarcastic? Fair enough I guess, let's say we were both being snarky in a way. I still don't believe in telling others what to do and I've never been so arrogant to believe my thoughts on love and relationships are the absolute best. I've been with my wife since high school, but acknowledge we're a rare breed. I know this topic was designed for people to prop up themselves and condemn anyone would would be in favor of this service. I get it, but that's never been my style.
