Well lets see what Bruce has out this week. With a 2.5 on IMDB and No stars on Roger Ebert.com I just had to check out this newest science fiction epic. Let me say this movie was a blast. Does that mean I think its good. Nope, but I thought it was one of the best bad movies I have seen in a long time. during the whole time I saw this film I kept thinking this has to be a fake movie. It looks like a giant practical joke. Its a film that makes Battlefield Earth look actually good. No joke.
I did not understand the whole plot here. Apparently its about people who work for a company called Alliance who has to stop an alien species before they strike against us, or something like that its incoherent as hell. The space suits in the films look awful. Like they were rejected from a 50s low budget space film. Bruce Willis gives by far his worst performance of his career. I mean he is at a whole new level of not caring. The whole film look cheap and generic. Its the biggest mess of a film I seen in a while.
But its so bad that I kinda enjoyed it like the way I would like The Room or Birdemic. But as a film lover its a 1/10 from me.
Anyone else seen this?

It's sad seeing what has happened to Bruce, but there's a perversely sense of fun seeing what kind of direct-to-DVD film he'll do next. It's like a guessing game.

People seem to forget that these rich actors/actresses have an income to live up to, lifestyle to uphold, business ventures, bills to pay, taxes, alimony if divorced, etc. The more houses, cars, jewelry, bills, alimony, taxes, business ventures, etc. you get, the more money you need to keep up with these things. So sometimes these actors/actresses have to do a lousy movie for a nice, quick paycheck. Morgan Freeman can explain it: Robert De Niro running low on cash due to cost of nasty divorce, coronavirus pandemic: lawyer www.nydailynews.com/new-york/ny-robert-de-niro-divorce-20210416-c3ry6tosprbdzhyg65ufxcetem-story.htmlwww.nathanrabin.com/happy-place/2020/7/14/robert-de-niro-and-the-money-problems-of-the-unspeakably-rich

He's apparently making a crime thriller with Megan Fox and Emile Hirsch.

I thought Hostage was quite solid, but that was back when Bruce still cared.

I think I'm starting to see why he's so desperate for another Die Hard film

I thought Hostage was quite solid, but that was back when Bruce still cared. Yeah, I thought Hostage was one of the better ones, at least from that list of "classics". Looking at all these generic and dull DVD/Blu-ray artworks. I wonder if it is the same guy, behind most of them. Must have taken a whole lot of time, to come up with them. The more I look at them, the funnier some of them turn out to be. I think The Prince artwork, is my favorite, right now. Cusack, Willis and Patric, all have the same facial expression/look, and then I guess if Willis has his mouth shut, it usually is bad news. Hostage, he has his mouth open, and at least it seems like he has some life left in him, where as most of the others, he just could not care less.
