MLB - Pittsburgh, no title since 1979 ("We are fam-i-lee")
NFL - Detroit, no title since 1957
NHL - Buffalo, no title ever
NBA - Sacramento, no title since 1951 (as Rochester Royals)
Lack of trophies isn't everything, but all these teams aren't in any danger of winning one this year either. Their franchise histories are filled with lousy draft picks, dopey trades, bad luck and poor ownership.

From what I gather, the Knicks are decent right now, but it's gotta be the Knicks for the NBA. They have been AWFUL pretty much for my entire life, other than an odd little playoff run here and there. Terrible drafts, awful free agent signings, organizational chaos from its asshole owner to incompetent front office personnel, they are a joke.

From what I gather, the Knicks are decent right now, but it's gotta be the Knicks for the NBA. And tickets to Knicks games are hard to get (at least, pre-pandemic they were). Same with the Cowboys, who I'm assuming are still the most valuable NFL franchise, even though they have been garbage more often than not over the past 2 decades.

MLB - Angels. They have the single greatest individual talent since Mickey Mantle and can’t win shit.
NFL - Lions or Browns for obvious reasons.
NBA - Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic

I know they've been more successful and relevant in the last few decades than some of the others, but the Jets are the team most of America enjoys making fun of above all others.

They have been very underachieved and a mess in the last couple decades. It was fun to watch them during the 90s. Ewing was a respected player, and other teams did not take the Knicks lightly during that era. At that time, NJ Nets was the laughing stock in NBA before Jason Kidd arrived. Actually I am not sure if the Nets was even considered a laughingstock since no one know they existed.
