According to a release provided by Marvel Studios (via The Direct), Nia DaCosta also earned writing credits on the film. Not only that, but the Candyman alumnus was joined by Megan McDonnell (WandaVision), Elissa Karasik (Loki), and Robot Chicken's Zeb Wells, the writer currently behind Marvel's Amazing Spider-Man comic series.

Honestly, does anybody care about these characters at all? Just bring on The Mutants or whatever they’re calling them and flush away these last remnants of the MCU. By that logic, Iron Man himself never should have gotten movies.

I'm just looking forward to whatever drama gets drawn up with Brie Larson.

I just hope they actually develop Carol Dancers into an interesting character. I’m still skeptical on that. These studios need to learn how to properly write for female characters.

She's as well developed as Steve Rogers was in First Avenger and Avengers 1. I would have to disagree. You got a better understanding of who Steve Rogers is as a person in The First Avenger and the first Avengers and see why he was the best candidate for the serum before he takes it.

And that person is as "flat" as Captain Marvel was accused of being. They are certainly both flat arc characters. But Steve’s values and personality are far more developed. I don’t hate Captain Marvel. It’s fine. But Cap 1 laid a solid foundation for the character. Cap Marvel 1? Not as much.

The Marvels will be her first major reappearance since her first movie, since she wasn't in Endgame enough to get more development. They deliberately kept her more vague in Endgame because it was written before her movie was finished and they didn't want to mess up anything in that movie's portrayal.
So I'll give them that film to see how Carol is portrayed, since she'll be a major focus again and she's no longer fighting off brainwashing like in her first movie (which made characterization harder to do).

Monica Rambeau (Teyona Parris) may go by the name Photon.

Does the poster contain explicit subliminal advertising or am I just dirty? Probably both…
