that you actually like? I mean after the year 2000.
I'm saying i can't think of any, that doesn't mean that there aint any of course that are good. I'm just saying if i am being honest, and of course i totally am... I can't think of any. And i've also heard almost every hit song from the past 21 years.
In other words, if there's a song that you would actually care if you never heard it again and it was also released from after the year 2000 to this day, what is it?

I like plenty of songs after 2000, but most of them are probably not what you would call popular music... I agree with Feologild Oakes , there are plenty of great songs released in 2000 or later, although not in the realm of popular music. I have purchased over two-hundred albums released in that time period, including two 2021 album releases. So mstreepsucks , you say you have heard "every hit song from the past 21 years" and that you don't like any of them. Then guess what, you're not part of the target market for pop music any more! Stop listening to the radio, move on, and find something else. There's a whole world of music out there just waiting to be discovered. The last 21 years have clearly demonstrated that you can't rely on the so called hit-makers to deliver music you will like. So stop complaining about it, go over to YouTube and start searching. Once you find one band you like and start listening to them, YouTube's algorithm will suggest another, and another, until you literally have more music than you know what to do with. To use an analogy, you're watching only one channel on your TV, and complaining there's nothing good on. Change the channel!!!

If you are talking about popular songs that a person didn't care for at first, but eventually got into, the first song that comes to my mind for me is "Chicken Fried" from the Zac Brown Band act. I couldn't stand it when it started getting played on the radio, but I eventually surrendered. God bless you and the ZBB always!!! Holly
