I join many of my fellow IMDB'ers in hoping you will reconsider (perhaps by taking a hiatus but refraining from deleting your account?). However, if you are determined to leave, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

I'll miss your posts too. I gotta admit as someone else said, I don't get deleting your account. Just take a break, a long break I didn't post much for a couple years, that's why I'm still a sophomore, lol. But if it's too much of a distraction, I guess I can see it. All the best  |

What is bothering you?
I know what it is like to get frustrated, but there is no reason to cancel your account. As others have said, just don't use IMDB2 for a while.
It seems like you are doing this out of bitterness.

If you delete your email from your proboards account it locks you out without deleting your account. But I'll delete if I need an extended break and don't trust myself not to cheat. Sometimes you need that. This is the only board I post on now though, so it might not happen again. I've been posting with some of these folks for years now, I'm attached as lame as it sounds. |

Yeah I understand man, when I stopped posting for a year everyone was telling me not to leave and to stay. But I had to do what was best. I imagine in my absence people asked everyday when is harmless elf coming back?
If you do come back you'll find once you break the habit you won't post as much. Since I returned I only log in about once or twice a month.

After awhile you'll be less tempted. Let painting be the place you find peace and enjoyment. Then come back when you're ready to shot the …., then another break and so on!

Like I said, I’ve decided to not delete the account. I’m going to go on a “spiritual journey.” So to speak.
Thanks for all the warm wishes and thoughts. This board is special. The people here are great. You’ve all been supportive and one of the bright spots in my life, when I didn’t have any.
I leave you with this. Just be kind to each other. It’s not worth petty arguments and fights over small insignificant things.
