Yes, for starring in the Fantastic Four movie.

I think they'd be great, but I daresay most Marvel fans want younger people to play the parts. Mahershala Ali isn’t exactly a spring chicken, but he’s supposed to play Blade.

Of course they do. The fans have made it clear they want them. Now it's just up to them not to screw this up and pass on the roles.

I think they'd be great, but I daresay most Marvel fans want younger people to play the parts. It depends on how many movies the MCU wants to make form the F4 characters as well as how they're going to write the characters. If they're going with an origin story where Reed Richards and Susan Storm have only started dating and not yet married, and they're planning another 10 year stint of movies with the F4, then Blunt and Krasinski might be a bit too old. We have to remember that majority of the leading actors that the MCU hired were around their late 20's to early 30's the first time they appeared in an MCU movie. That allowed them to do a number of movies for the MCU that spanned years. Now if the MCU is writing the F4 with Sue and Richard as an already established couple who are a bit older, then Krasinski and Blunt will work.

I hope it happens. They'd be great in the roles.

I really want Kransinski as Reed. I think he’d be perfect. Blunt may be good too, but I don’t like the gimmick of having a real life couple in the roles. Feels tacky and forced.

Also it could run the risk of being inexplicably unconvincing like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively in Green Lantern. I don't think they were married yet but they were together by that time.

Age isn't really a big deal. I'd say it's a big deal depending on who the character is and how you write it. If they did an origin movie of Captain America, it wouldn't have made sense if they cast a 50 year old actor in the role, because that would mean he'd be too old to have been accepted in the military at that time. If they had cast a 40+ year old actor for Thor, there's a good chance we'd see him visibly age within a 10 year time span and that wouldn't make much sense since Thor ages very slowly. If you cast a teenager to play Black Widow, that wouldn't make sense since she's supposedly already an experienced assassin by the time we first see her. Heck, I think even Scarjo was too young when they first cast her.

Especially if they don't look radically different from the age they're meant to play. Certainly, in this case, Krasinski wouldn't be too old to play a Reed Richards who's in his 30s.

Let me rephrase my stand then: It matters that the actors needs to look like the age they're portraying. As long as the actor can look like the age of the character, then we're good. In this case, as I mentioned in one of my other posts, if they're going for an older Fantastic Four team where Sue and Richard are roughly the same age of either being in their 30's or early 40's, then this works. But if they're going for an origin movie that follows the age gaps of the comic versions of the F4 where Johnny Storm is a teenager, Sue is in her early 20's and Reed/Grimm are in their late 30's, then this will be an issue. Especially for Emily Blunt.

He's not Prince Phillip. That's not even his full birth name. He was born Mahershalalhashbaz, and it's just something from the hebrew bible

Here's what Emily Blunt had to say about it:
"That is fan-casting. No one has received a phone call. That’s just people saying, ‘Wouldn’t that be great?’ ... It’s not that it’s beneath me. I love Iron Man and when I got offered Black Widow I was obsessed with Iron Man. I wanted to work with Robert Downey Jr.—it would’ve been amazing … but I don’t know if superhero movies are for me. They’re not up my alley. I don’t like them. I really don’t."
