For the life of me, I don't get the hard-ons so many people have about Emily Blunt. I've seen some of her stuff and she's a decent actress but nothing special. Same goes for her looks, she's attractive but no more so than at least half the capable actresses out there. Just don't get it, never have and never will.

I think she's a pretty good actress, but it's not like every role she touches turns to gold. As for looks, I think she's pretty much just average as far as Hollywood standards go, which usually mean above average to the normal person.

Here's what Emily Blunt had to say about it: "That is fan-casting. No one has received a phone call. That’s just people saying, ‘Wouldn’t that be great?’ ... It’s not that it’s beneath me. I love Iron Man and when I got offered Black Widow I was obsessed with Iron Man. I wanted to work with Robert Downey Jr.—it would’ve been amazing … but I don’t know if superhero movies are for me. They’re not up my alley. I don’t like them. I really don’t." If there's one thing I've learned in recent years, it's that nothing fans claim is "confirmed" is actually confirmed. Case in point: I've heard people talking about them being cast in FF being "confirmed" too many times to count. Add that to Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield being in the next Spider-Man movie (which Garfield had outright denied) to Tom Holland having a cameo in Venom (he didn't) to Captain America dying in Endgame (he got old, but was alive), to a million different characters from the cartoons who were supposedly going to be in the Star Wars sequels (they weren't).

Garfield denying that he’s in the next Spider-Man movie doesn’t exactly confirm that he isn’t in it. I’m not saying he’ll be in it for sure, but that wouldn’t be the first time a person lied in order to keep something in a movie a secret. J.J. Abrams famously said that Benedict Cumberbatch wasn’t playing Khan.

She's not a hideous freak but she's not stunning either.

Really, you can always get the instinct that someone is a bitch and that's what I always felt about her these comments don't really surprise me. Her constant resting bitch face. When people were saying she should play Captain Marvel... I was like what the fuck are you talking about.

Same here, I think she's one of the most overrated actress's out there both in terms of looks and talent, not that she's bad or ugly, but she's just good and plain imo, so I don't get where people cream themselves over her myself.

She's still not interested:
"I really understand that [superhero movies] are like a religion for a lot of people. They don't appeal to me in the same way. I don't have this burning desire to play a superhero." movieweb.com/emily-blunt-superhero-movies/
And lady, you've no idea.
