No one is condoning fans dumping popcorn on a player but people (not you) act like the fan pissed on a toddler while burning a flag. You know the scene in The Sum of All Fears where a nuke goes off at the Super Bowl? The headline in every paper that day was “Philly fans boo Santa Claus.” Yeah I have no idea how big a story it actually is, I only gave Frogs a heard time about it because he was celebrating the behavior. Just wait until somebody eventually makes it about race... I'm celebrating blowing the doors off the Wizards and going up 2-0 Also our dislike of Russ since he's gone on record stating he's not cool with Jo-Jo
Russ is a star who is a future HOFer and is the All-Time Triple Double's leader who happens to have a Alpha Personality which makes him easy to root against if he's your opponent
I enjoy playing the Russes of the world - those with personalities - not those with personalities of mashed potatoes like Brown and Tatum

Do you hold your breath when Embiid is attempting free throws? And you are correct, Simmons does make a majority of his free throw attempts. His career percentage made according to basketball reference is 59.7%. I wasn’t sure just how good or bad that is so for a comparison I looked up Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, especially since people call him the next Magic. Bird’s career percentage made is 88.6% and Magic’s is 84.8%. Now that’s just two players but it seems to be a wide gap. I would think a generational talent would be closer to the talent he’s being compared to. I'm all smiles when Jo-Jo is at the line
He is an elite FT shooter for a Big
As far as the comparisons to Magic go - I'd argue Magic was never the defender Ben is
So Magic may win the FT category - he can have it
Ben wins Defensively

I’ll defer to you and state that Simmons is better defensively than Magic. But was Magic as poor on defense as Simmons seemingly is making free throws?

He makes more than half of them - could always be a little better Shaq, who is widely mocked for his free throw skills, is only 7% behind Simmons. Generational talent Ben Simmons is only about 7% better making free throws than one of the worst to ever do it. I suppose I’d be holding my breath too.

Now just look at that - Ben is better at something than one of the greatest NBA players in the history of the game......a Generational Talent himself in Shaq
Sky's the limit for this kid

Sky's the limit for this kid Exactly. Simmons is better at this than Shaq in the same way that chopping off your own foot is better than getting your dick stuck in a bear trap. Get started on that HoF bust of Simmons!

Seth Curry listed as 'probable' for tonight's game after leaving Game 2 and limping to the back like a shark bit his foot off (this is typical behavior for him at least once a week). We need that shootin'
Let's sweep this series and move onto Hawks/Knicks

It's typical of all NBA players these days. I don't know why they're such drama queens all of the sudden. I blame the rise of soccer.

It's like a miracle from God he's able to walk a couple of days later after all the theatrics he puts on........
I never wish injury on anybody (especially my own team) - and you should really never doubt a players injury - but every time he goes down I'm pretty much like 'Whatever Dude - see you next game'

Joel out
Ben in foul trouble all night and on the bench with 5 fouls
And 2020 'Soft Tobie' decided to show up tonight getting dominated around the rim - going up soft and missing 2 foot bunnies and getting his shot blocked all night ...
Despite that - just down 4 with 5 to go.......

Embiid and A.D. always competing for the injury title.
Westbrook 19 points on 3-19 shooting with 21 boards and 14 assisfs.

Against a playoff team no less....
That is baffling to me....
